So if your horse boot fits in length, but your horse has a long and narrow hoof, then help is at hand with Easycare Old Mac's and Easyboots Trail Boot Inserts for your Old Mac's and Easyboot Trail boots. These inserts have a unique design that allows for adjustability in giving a better and more secure fit for your boots. Just Velcro® them in, and presto: instant fit!

These inserts perform as an insole, filling out the width of the boot until the hoof naturally expands. They are helpful during the transition period from shod to barefoot.

Each insert consist of a leather pocket pouch. In the insert's pocket is 2 layers of EVA foam. Each insert is attached to the boot folding it over the side of the open boot, so that it is secured by the hook and loop closure, and the boot is provided with the insert's 'padding' on the inside. Inserts are used on both sides of a boot. Later, when your horse's hoof starts to expand it is easy to adjust for this growth by peeling away a layer of foam.

Easycare recommended that inserts be used only when absolutely necessary - they may be needed if the hoof length measurement is 3 or more sizes than the width measurement.

Sold as set of 4 - one for both sides of each boot.
