MYLER BITS LOOSE RING SNAFFLE 14MM MB04
Myler Bits Loose Ring 14MM MB04 have a bit thicker mouthpiece than other Myler snaffles. A simple "O" ring where both the bridle and the mouthpiece have no fixed point of attachment but slide freely around the ring. The loose ring allows a lot of play as the mouthpiece slides freely around the ring.
The 14MM mouthpiece is slightly thicker, tapering to the standard thickness of 11.11MM inside the horse's mouth.
Direct rein action. English or Western disciplines.
The loose ring is generally considered one of the most non-interfering cheekpieces. The ring continually vibrates as it can move and react to a small touch with the rein. This vibration can be encouraging to the horse to stay soft in the mouth and give to the rein pressure.
Myler Bit Level 2
Stainless Steel Loose Ring with Stainless Steel Comfort Snaffle Wide Barrel (MB 04, Level 2) Copper Inlay Mouth. 14MM tapering to the standard 11.11MM.
The MB 04 mouthpiece has recently been approved for Dressage in America by USDF.
The level 2 MB04 mouthpiece will rotate on the tongue and apply tongue pressure; however it has a slight port that allows the horse to swallow when he is moving forward and relaxed. The barrel distributes the pressure kindly on the tongue. The MB04 provides an excellent transition from level one to level two.
