Woof Wear Original Range Single-Lock Brushing Boots? These
equine brushing boots, or splint boots offer effective leg protection for your
horse against knocks and wounds. They are durable, and easy to use.When a
horse's legs are unprotected, 'brushing' can cause bruising to his leg bones.
This brushing happens when the leg opposite brushes up against the inside of the
other leg, possibly causing repeated concussion and cuts/abrasions from
horseshoes.
The fabric used in manufacture is a breathable neoprene
(5.5mm) with a durable nylon binding. Neoprene is a great fabric of choice for
the boots, as it doesn't retain water. This popular, best-selling boot is
ergonomically designed, incorporating a shaped strike pad that is hard-wearing
(also has some additional padding). Because of the numerous Touch and Close
straps, the boot is easy to adjust, and the shaped design provides a superior
fit. Recessed stitching is used for sewing.
