Skito All Purpose Endurance Dryback Saddle Pads with your choice of foam inserts are the ultimate back protection a saddle pad can provide. Your horse will love this saddle pad with excellent quality foam inserts. It is an excellent choice for treeless saddles, or with any saddle when riding long distances on the trail or for endurance rides. The all purpose endurance style will fit most English, endurance, and even some western saddles.

The Medium Firm foam inserts are suitable for riders up to 175 lbs. You also have the option of inserts made by Skito with a Laminated Mesh - Medium Foam combination for extra back protection for an extra charge. These Laminated Mesh Medium Foam inserts, 1" thick, are durable, but flexible, and are for riders 175 - 250 lbs, or horses with back issues.

The shape of this saddle pad fits almost all English and endurance style saddles, and even some western saddles. The underlay is 100% real wool under the saddle area, and under the flaps is closer contact 100% wool felt. The top of the saddle pad is made with durable, waterproof Nylon Cordura, and a dry-back material. The dry-back portion is always blue in color, and also helps to keep your saddle in place

The dry-back material allows heat and moisture to escape from your horse's back and into the atmosphere, keeping your horse's back cooler and more comfortable. The dry-back material is resistant to bacteria and is sun and weather tolerant. It is extremely durable and yet soft enough to conform to the back of your horse.

The inserts are accessible through the front velcro closure. There is a two-piece velcro girth loop for easy on and off.

Washing instructions:

Remove inserts, close velcro strips before washing, wash cold on gentle cycle. Tiny amount of mild soap, NO BLEACH, and double rinse. Dry flat. And for crying out loud - DO NOT put it in the dryer.

To wash inserts: Put in tub with 1 cup white vinegar to 5 gallons water. Walk on inserts with your bare feet. Rinse in bath of clean water. Roll in towel, do not wring or twist. Lay flat and air dry away from direct sunlight.
