Myler Bits Western Dee MB04
The Myler Bits Western Dee MB04 is a 3" circular ring with fixed attachment of the mouthpiece. It has a direct rein action and is used in primarily Western riding disciplines. This cheek style provides a more direct signal than the loose ring. The straight side of the ring will not pull through the mouth and does not pinch.
The mouthpiece has slight port. The curve shape gives tongue more room. Horse can swallow, relax, and move forward.
Myler Bit Level 2 Size - 5"
Stainless Steel Western Dee with Sweet Iron Low Port Comfort Snaffle (MB 04, Level 2) Copper Inlay Mouth 5"
This mouthpiece is made of polished Sweet Iron which naturally oxidizes or rusts. Harmless to horses, it has a sweet taste and promotes salivation.
The level 2 MB04 mouthpiece will rotate on the tongue and apply tongue pressure; however it has a slight port that allows the horse to swallow when he is moving forward and relaxed. The barrel distributes the pressure kindly on the tongue. The MB04 provides an excellent transition from level one to level two.
A Myler Level Two horse could:
Just be beginning training but with a good disposition
Be being retrained after a long lapse
Be older and experienced but ridden exclusively in a broken mouthpiece
Be currently being ridden in a Level One mouthpiece and is showing resistance
Have an unpredictable or challenging disposition
Be new to the rider with an unknown history
