Myler Bits Kimberwick MB27LP
The Myler Bits Kimberwick MB27LP has a copper alloy mouthpiece that horses like. It is a "D" shaped ring with a purchase for the headstall and two attachment options for a single pair of reins. It can be used as a direct rein (snaffle) position or indirect rein (curb) position.
Curb chain is included. Designed to be used with only one pair of reins. Very little to mild leverage when the lower rein hook is used.
Cyprium is a copper alloy and is completely nickel free. The copper makes this bit more readily accepted by horses and increases salivation and chewing.

Stainless Steel Kimberwick with Cyprium Correctional Low Port (MB 27LP, Level 2-3).
The Myler 27LP is a correctional ported mouthpiece which collapses on to the outer lip and bars, and rotates on to the tongue. The port, although narrow and somewhat low, allows room for the tongue to pass under the bit. The angles of the port are pronounced so when the reins are engaged and the mouthpiece rotates on to the tongue, it applies two concentrated points of pressure on the tongue. There is little to no palate pressure. Because the mouthpiece collapses and the angles of the port are pronounced, it offers very quick control. This bit does not offer Independent Side Movement.
A correctional mouthpiece is not intended for long term use but designed to help correct a problem in a horse with intermediate to advanced training.
A Myler Level Two-Three horse could:
Have basic training and a solid disposition and good self control
Have advanced training but with a disposition that requires more control
Be overly bold, timid, excitable or have a tendency to spook
Be training in a discipline that requires tongue relief tempered with precise control
Be training for Endurance, Barrel Racing, Jumping or similar disciplines
Be ridden in a Level Two bit and showing resistance
