Myler Bits Full Cheek with Hooks MB04
Myler Bits Full Cheek with Hooks MB04 has a low port comfort snaffle mouth piece. It has a rounded ring with fixed attachment of the mouthpiece and a post that extends equidistant above and below the mouthpiece. Posts are slightly angled away from the cheek to prevent rubbing. Ring has a slot (hook) at the bottom for attachment of the reins. There is no hook for curb chain or strap.
It is a direct action when rein hook is not used. Indirect rein action when rein is fixed on the rein hook.
This is a traditional cheek style designed to be used with bit keepers. (sold separately) to hold the bit in the correct position. When used without bit keepers, the bit will sit in the mouth similarly to a dee or eggbutt without hooks.
Primarily English with bit keepers. Commonly used in Western without bit keepers.

Stainless Steel Full Cheek with Hooks with Stainless Steel Low Port Comfort Snaffle (MB 04, Level 2) Copper Inlay Mouth.
The level 2 MB04 mouthpiece will rotate on the tongue and apply tongue pressure; however it has a slight port that allows the horse to swallow when he is moving forward and relaxed. The barrel distributes the pressure kindly on the tongue. The MB04 provides an excellent transition from level one to level two.
