DP Saddlery Western Flex Fit Vario SaddlesDP Saddlery Flex Fit Trail Western Saddles are the world's first ADJUSTABLE western saddles! Made by Deuber and Partner Saddlery of Germany, these saddles have revolutionized saddle fit problems.
The gullet is fully adjustable with a simple Allen Wrench that comes with the saddle. The continuously adjustable gullet width can be adjusted by fractions of an inch with just a twist of the Allen Wrench that inserts into a discreet slot located on top of the fork. No strength is required to make the change.
To further help with saddle fit, the Flex Fit Trail Saddle is made with an Ultra Flex saddle tree. It lets the horse move freely, and encourages proper bend and freedom of the shoulder. These quality saddles are handmade with leather from North America. There is a five year warranty on the tree, and a three year overall warranty on the saddle except for wear and tear parts.
The photos show a variety of leather options, although we most often stock the Havanna leather with a dark seat. The other photos show examples of other leather and tooling options.
Flex-Fit Saddles come with Western Rigging in 7/8th position. They also offer a well balanced seat to keep the rider's balance centered. Price includes leather latigo, leather off side billet, fenders and rawhide laced stirrups.

How to Fit the DP Saddle Adjutable Gullet to your horse
Gullet Width  The DP Saddles have a patented continuously adjustable gullet system, which allows the rider to easily narrow or widen the width by as much as necessary, or fine tune the fit by just a fraction of an inch via an Allen Wrench, without ever having to take the saddle apart. This system is adjustable from K1-K5 (compare to narrow through extra-wide), which is comparable to the Sprenger Measuring System for Withers Size 6 through Size 2.
