My knees are extremely sensitive in the cold and get really sore in standard stirrups while riding. These have alleviated all knee pain because of the 90 degree angled eye and I also appreciate that it is way easier to put my feet in and take them out of the stirrups without having to reach down to adjust them. Another big plus has been the cage. I no longer have to worry about my foot slipping all the way through and I could definitely see myself using these in endurance competitions in the future. The only con has been that after only a week of using them, the screw for the foot-pad came off and now I have to find a replacement screw. I'm also thinking about just super-gluing the pad down to the iron. They are still usable. Just a minor inconvenience. They still outperform my old stirrups and make riding much more comfortable over long rides. Would recommend, just tighten the screws on the bottom.
